CD Burned

I think I might have to avoid the Spring Burn It" cd swap this time around.

I played along with the Winter one. Made a cd mix about the theme: S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder). I even made some pretty cool looking artwork to go with it. I sent all 4 of my cds out. And guess how many I got back? 1. One stinking cd! How much does that suck? (sighs)

So call me bitter, but I'm out.

Coffee Overload

Damn this massive caffiene high low.

I made the massive mistake of drinking 4 cups of java this morning. Why? Not quite sure. I was bored.. and lonely. And the coffee maker was calling me, and I came a runnin'.

I'm starting to consider if that was overkill, since my head aches ever so much.

Bang. Bang.

I watched "Kill Bill Vol.1" (Loved it!) over the weekend. And at the very beginning, during the credits, they play Nancy Sinatra's "Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" and now I have the song stuck in my head.

So I went to Radio Blog and ran the song on a their search. And now I'm happy. Bang Bang.

The one thing I LOVE about Quentin is the music he uses in his films. It always fits the mood.. vibe.. the one of the entire film. He very good at that.

I wanna see the new one so bad now!

Nero. The CD making whore

A day in the life of me : Tay.

First, I attempt to get online using this blasted cable modem. Then I pray that the computer(the queen of having blue screen fits) works for me today.

Then there's the cd burner.
(sighs)
Nero. . what did I do to you to make you hate me so much ?! First, you won't turn on and work for me. Then you make most of my cdr's into drink coasters.

.. If Nero (That Bitch!)only knew that I have to burn 4 cd mixes to be sent out by the end out of the month. Maybe she'd cut me a little break here..

She's So Unusual

Don't ya just love Cyndi Lauper?

She is simply my childhood idol. I would dance around the house wildly with the "She's So Unusual" album playing in the background.

She was just so cool. She this odd, little thing that most people wrote off.. as simply being a novelty. But beyond her zany dancing and wild clothes, their was that voice.

I don't care how cute, sexy, diva like you think you singers think you are...
After a while, people will want something to hold on to. Something more then your ass shaking in that mini skirt. Your ass and breasts will eventually drop in gravity and it will just come down to your talent.

Young hochie mommas, take note.
