BDI : Random questions

From the lovelies over at BDI.

1. Week 11 you were asked to list four things about you using the letters B-L-O-G. This week do the same thing but use the letters H-U-M-P. Just use one word or feel free to get gabby about it.
H - Healthy. (As far as I know.)
U - Unique.
M - Messy. (Being neat is not an option for me.)
P - Procrastination.

2. If you were a dessert, what would you be and why?
A dessert? I suppose an ice cream sundae, because that's what I love to eat. I can't think of any personailty connections to that answer.

3. Imagine if you will that you are being held hostage by a pompous, self-grandizing, BORING person on your IM. You're trying to be polite but really want to brush this person off. Being crazy and creative, list three things that you could tell that person to excuse yourself now AND discourage them from contacting you ever again.
1. "Excuse me.. I have some explosive stomach cramps. And the smell coming from my bum, is starting to resemble a dying corpse."
2. "I have to go masturbate".
(That hasn't helped me much. I get flooded with even more offers.)
3. Turn the computer off. Not very creative, but it gets the job done :)

4. You are a work of art. What are you? Explain why.
I'd be a Van Gogh. At first glimspe, sad, depressing and misunderstood. But if you really that the time to really look at all the detials, I can be quite beautiful and enchanting.

5. Do you have an talent that is interesting but totally useless? (Example: being able to touch your nose with our tongue, tear a phone book in half ... ) Tell us about it.
I can pick up stuff like pens, pencils.. off the floor with my feet. I have been doing it since I was five years old.

Project Greenlight 3

Project Greenlight.
The moviemaking contest from Ben Affleck and Matt Damon moves over from HBO with plans for a horror film, which could be produced by Wes Craven.

Article from Bravo.

Woo hoo! One of my favorite reality is coming back. I just got finished watching the complete first season on dvd. I caught the second on HBO last year.

I don't know about you guys, but I have always found the "behind the scenes" stuff more interesting then the actual movie themselves.

It's also weird because, with any reality show, these normal people start to become characters to you. You know... The Bitch... The Backstabber... The Ass... The Sweet Heart.

I really enjoy the fact they are going to to try to attempt to make a "horror movie". It's odd, actually. I believe it is harder to make a horror movie, then let's say, a drama or comedy. Most horror end up turning really bad. They're either up being unintentionally funny or not scary. And these are the kiss of death for horror movies. So this should be interesting.

The Joy of \"Top 20\" Lists

I suppose this should probably go to my art of the mix blog ...

..But I up late last night, thinking about various "Top 10" or "Top 20" lists. Personal lists really.

Things like the "Top 20 Love Songs According to you"... "Top 20 Songs that your Childhood"... "Top 20 Songs you have repeated 20 times in a row, when you first hear them".

That one is very interesting to me. We have all heard that one more song, that just calls to you. That wraps aroudn your soul with that vocal, and the words. So you, being the dork you are, play the damn thing 20 times in a row, because... quite frankly.. YOU LOVE IT!! I would love to hear everyone's version of that list. No one's list would be anything a like. I tend to fall in love with a song, that's 20 years old. Or a track on that i skipped on a cd I had for years.

\"Hell Boy\" Fun

Last friday, my boyfriend treated my family to see "Hell Boy". So we all gathered in the family station wagon and head to local AMC.

Fast forward.. The movie ends. People clap. My parents and brother get up to leave. I, being the queen of all dorks, decide to check the floor.

Juju (my boyfriend) : "What the heck are you doing, Tay?"
Tay (me): "I'm checking to see if I left anything behind."

I have developed this phobia of leaving my stuff behind. With good reason, I"m extremely forgetful and have the world's shortest attention span. I have left my purse, glasses, wallet etc.. at various locations all around the lovely state of California.

So while checking the floor, I feel a cell phone. One of those flip phones. The kind of phone my brother has.

Juju and I walk out the theatre. I share my find with him. We start to laugh. My dumbass brother forgot his phone.

Me : Hey Ian! Check your pockets.

My brother checks all his pockets, and to my horror, brings out his cell phone.

<<< INSERT HORRORIFIED MUSIC QUEUE HERE >>>

I realize that the phone I found was someone elses. I felt like such a dork. I headed straight to the "Customer Service" and headed the phone in. I hope the owner finds the phone.

Computer shock.

An early good night to all my ladies.

California is experiencing a freak rain storm. (Why do I live here again?) And it's a pretty big one. Thunder and lightning, oh my!

So my parents are freaked out. They think I might experience eletric shock if I stay on the computer too damn long.

There can be only one Ash, Thank you Very Much!

As if horror movies couldn't get any worse...

Treat Williams to Play Ash in 'Freddy vs Jason 2'!?
-----
Now here's some news I thought I'd never be reporting! Why on earth would New Line do something so catastrophic. The only man who can play Ash is Bruce Campbell, not Treat Williams. Sure he rocked in Deep Rising, but come on! You need to read this, you need to see this, and you need to see why this could totally end up being a load of crap. Lets just pray... --- -> Article from Bloody Disgusting.
..And as if we needed another reason to hate New Line. I'm hoping (more like praying) that is an April Fool's Joke. Ick. Ick.

Teenage Love Stories

I knew it all over when I had a dream about him. We made out in the backseat, while getting drive thru. From then on, I have been in love. Especially with the goatee. I loved the goatee.

I fell in love with his smile and his blue eyes when I was 13 years old.

Their music touched me first. I heard the urgency of Dave Gahan's voice, and the poetry of Martin Gore's words. I never loved Andy, unfortunely. He never touched me (Thank God.)

Winter _ Burn It

I'm almost have every single cd burned for the Burn It : Winter Edition. That wasn't the case a few days ago when I was using NERO, and the damn thing kept making my computer crash on me. It was same thing over nad over again.

I put the blank CD-R in the drive. I hit "burn". And after 4 minutes, the burner spits out the disc and then gives me that blue screen that mocks me.

I got wise, though. My brother installed Real Player, and my cd burning problems were over. (Thank God.) I was about throw my brother's computer out the window. This computer is the key to most of my frustrations lately.

Dr. Rice to Testify

Bowing to pressure, the White House will allow National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice to testify in public under oath before the commission investigating the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney also agreed to speak with the full panel privately.

I'm glad to see that Condoleezza Rice going to testify after all. I was a little bit peeved at the fact that she would have avoided testifing unlike her peers. I don't know, it just didn't seem fair.
